Lauren Romero

Attorney Lauren Romero joined the Rider Goodwin Law Team in the spring of 2024. Lauren was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, from which she holds a deep-rooted pride in her heritage and identity as a Latina. Lauren attended the University of New Mexico for her undergraduate education where she majored in Philosophy, with an emphasis in Peace and Justice Studies and concentration in Law. Following her undergraduate degree, Lauren attended the University of North Dakota School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. During her time in law school, Lauren actively engaged in the Law Student Wellness Association, assuming the role of Vice President. Additionally, she participated in the Law Student Trial Lawyers Association, fulfilling the position of Secretary.
Lauren is admitted to practice law in both New Mexico and Colorado. She has exceptional family law experience. Prior to venturing into private practice, she honed her expertise as a law clerk at a prominent family law firm in Fargo, North Dakota, where she participated in several mediations and settlement conferences. This invaluable experience provided her with firsthand insight and a solid foundation in navigating the complexities of family law, equipping her to serve her clients with unparalleled dedication and skill. Lauren embodies the essence of a vibrant young attorney, driven by an eagerness to advocate passionately for her clients.
When she is not immersed in her legal endeavors, Lauren cherishes moments with her family, particularly with her nephew, Jaydyn, who doubles as her closest and best friend. Additionally, she finds solace outdoors, particularly through walks with her dogs, Walter and Dexter, whose antics never fail to bring a smile to her face.
